10 Minute presentation – Mentoring and Business Coaching.

What’s the difference between Mentoring and Coaching?

  • Coaching: helping another person (or persons) to improve awareness; to set and achieve goals, in order to improve a particular behavioural performance
  • Mentoring: helping to shape an individual’s beliefs and values in a positive way; often a longer-term career relationship with someone who has ‘done it before’
  • Mentoring and Business Coaching applies to all areas of your business – Finance/Sales/Marketing/Operations/HR
  • It applies to all levels – Owner/Director/Franchisee/Management/Teams/individuals
  • It applies to any size of business – from one-man to large corporations

So what’s this Mentoring/Coaching about?

  • It’s about taking your business from where it is at the moment, to where you want it to be
  • It’s about streamlining your operations to minimise loss
  • It’s about maximising profit
  • It’s about future sustainability
  • It’s about removing stress from your environment

What is the process?

  • Together, the Vision, Goals and Purpose of the business are established clearly
  • The differences between current situation and future requirements are analysed (customer requirements/cost-effective/skills/legal/timing/quality)
  • Priorities are acted upon, and revisited
  • Identify causes of poor performance – and rectify
  • The process is monitored, and information fed back into the system to improve it (this is an ongoing process)

Good day folks,

As per usual we had a very exciting evening at Cedar Lodge with Tim Stanley – Mentor and Business Coach giving us some serious hints on how to improve profits in our businesses. With just over 30 companies that attended last night, you can imagine the impact of cost savings as a whole for Krugersdorp.  You will be able to view Tim’s presentation on our website soon.

Once again, a warm welcome to all our new members at our Network evening and we are definitely looking forward to a prosperous venture between all the members.  To all the familiar faces and good friends, thank you for being so committed to Krugersdorp and it’s people, without you I am sure the town will collapse.

Should any of you need to obtain the attendance register, please email me directly to ensure that you start networking as soon as possible.

So then, this concludes our message to you all and should you have any ideas or solutions to any thing that has to do with Krugersdorp, please don’t hesitate to send it on to us to see whether we will be able to make a positive change.

Best of luck to you all and Kind Regards.
